Rugby league is built on big hits, big moments, and the roar of the crowd. With Hisense, fans get closer than ever — on the field and beyond it.
We partnered with Hisense to creatively direct Game On, a premium content series developed in collaboration with the NRL. The series takes fans inside the lives of the players who define the game, exploring the stories behind every try, every tackle and every jersey. From personal challenges to defining career moments, Game On offers an honest, human look at what it really takes to perform at the highest level.
Across three episodes released throughout the NRL season around key match moments, players sat down with Allana Ferguson — sports commentator and former professional rugby league player — for candid, in-depth conversations. Each episode blends intimate interviews with iconic NRL match footage, giving fans first-hand insight into the journeys, motivations and pivotal moments that shape elite athletes.
Designed for digital-first audiences, the series lived on YouTube in 5–10 minute hero episodes, supported by a suite of short-form cutdowns for social, teasers under 30 seconds, and “flip the mic” moments where players turned the tables to interview Allana about her own story. In total, each episode generated 5–7 individual content assets, maximising reach across platforms.
Featured players included Olivia Kernick (Sydney Roosters), James Tedesco (Sydney Roosters) and James Graham (The Bye Round podcast host and Triple M commentator). Content was distributed across both Hisense and NRL social channels, driving strong fan engagement and deepening emotional connection with the brand.
